Wheel building is perhaps one of our unique services we are able to offer. Andrew is widely accepted as the regions premium wheel builder and it is his personal touch that ensures your ride is true and efficient.

Whether it is your high performance forks or shock that need servicing, those brakes need bleeding, gears tuning, or that old antique that needs some TLC, The Cyclery is your one stop service shop.

SAFETY  CHECK

This is a safety assessment of the bike and all assemblies.

The check includes a general lubrication of applicable parts (i.e. chain, derailleur pivots and springs) and basic tuning of the gears and brakes.

GENERAL SERVICE  &  TUNE

This service includes:
  • Remove and true wheels
  • Check tyre condition
  • Adjust and lube derailleurs - Tune gears
  • Check derailleur hanger and straighten if required
  • Check main bearings - i.e. hubs/headset, bottom bracket (adjust if required)
  • Adjust brakes, calipers, pads and cables
  • General check and tighten of all stem bolts, cranks bolts, brake bolts etc
  • Check all cables, mechanisms and chain
  • Test ride

ANNUAl  SERVICE

This service includes the same as the GENERAL SERVICE & TUNE with the addition of:
  • Remove and degrease cranks, chainrings, chain and cassette
  • Remove bottom bracket and grease cups and thread
  • Clean and lube derailleurs and pulley wheels
  • Grease hub bearings
  • Adjust cones and locknuts
  • Clean

COMPLETE  SERVICE

The bike is stripped top to bottom and cleaned.

This service is the ANNUAL SERVICE combined with the addition of:
  • Strip headset, clean and grease
  • Replacement all mechanical cables
  • Replacement of hub bearings (loose bearing cost included, seale replaced only if required p.o.a)
  • Rims, hubs and frame cleaned

e-bike REPORT & Software Update

FORK  SERVICE

Fork servicing is really important to minimise wear and keep them working as best as possible, servicing starts at $60.00. Fork servicing  depends on brand of fork.
  • 50 Hour service from $60.00 (includes oils)
  • Full service from $169.00 (includes seals, wipes & oils)

SHOCK  SERVICE

Shock servicing depends on brand of shocks.
  • 50 Hour service from $60.00 (including oils)
  • Full service from $149.00 (including seals, wipers & oils)

BRAKE  SERVICE

Brakes need adjusting
or repairing?
  • Conventional brake adjust from $10.00 per end
  • Hydraulic brake bleed & flush $50.00 per caliper (including oils)
  • Hydraulic brake service - includes bleeding lubricate caliper pistons, cleaning pads and rotors, straightening rotor. $65.00 per caliper

LINKAGE  SERVICE

This is a great service to do annually to check out linkage bearings and bushes and either grease or replace as required, keeping the rear end working optimally (does not include parts)

GEAR  TUNE

Front and rear derailleur tune, includes resetting of derailleur limits, derailleur and chain lube, checking of hanger and straightening if required.

WHEEL  REPAIRS

Staightening wobbly wheels or replacing broken spokes. We can repair the majority of problems with your wheels.

WHEEL  BUILDS

Custom wheel builds from scratch, replacing bent, cracked or broken rims or hubs. Complete wheel building to your requirements.
